Why buy the Honda Civic Base?

The Honda Civic underwent a mild makeover for 2015 after playing it safe with an ill-received new model in 2012. Changes in 2015 included a new front-end, redone tail lamps, new wheels, retuned suspension, reconfigured electric power-steering and a generous helping of soft-touch materials on the dash and front doors. The latest Civic continues with a carryover 1.8-litre engine and a 5-speed automatic. All versions come with an "Eco Assist" feature that provides feedback to the driver to promote more efficient driving styles.
